Undefloor Heating

An important decision during a new build or home modernisation project is how to distribute the heat around the property. Air Craft has many years’ experience in all types of heating distribution systems and can advise on the best approach.

Underfloor heating (UFH) can be used in both new build and retrofit projects, installed as a primary heating system or used in conjunction with radiators to provide extra heating in particular rooms or areas of a property. There are many advantages to the creation of a comfortable living environment by circulating warm water through the pipes and gently heating the floor from below. This out of sight radiant heat solution distributes warmth evenly throughout a space effectively and hygenically, creating individual interior design opportunities. Solutions are matched to different floor constructions and finishes for all sizes of property.

As they are generally low temperature systems, hydronic underfloor heating systems are ideally suited for use with renewable energy sources such as Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs). Air Craft proposes the Daikin Altherma range, offering performance that is precisely matched to the selected UFH with simple, variable temperature control. Heating can be provided in the winter and cooling in the summer with maximum energy efficiency.
